Ordering
All stationery is made to order and will take approximately 4 weeks to produce unless otherwise stated.
If you would like to place an order, please fill in the order form and return it with an initial payment of:-
- 50% deposit if order is greater than £100. (Balance due before final part of order is dispatched, this will be advised) or
- in full if less than £100
to us at Kemnal Cottage, Soleshill Road, Shottenden, Canterbury, Kent, CT4 8JR.
All deposits are non-refundable.
Your Save The Date cards and Invitations will be sent out within 4 weeks from the date the order is received by us, all other items such as Place Cards, Orders of Service, Menus and Table Plans etc will be sent closer to the date of your wedding, unless otherwise agreed with Silver Tulip.
If for any reason you need your stationery more urgently than this, please contact us and we will see if something can be arranged, although an additional charge will apply (see below).
It is the responsibility of the customer to check and send details of what is to be printed inside the Order of Service, Menus and guests' names for the Place Cards & Seating Plans, a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the wedding. Unfortunately, once this is received, no changes can be made.
Silver Tulip cannot be held responsible for gaining copyright permission for the use of hymns used in the Order of Service. This is for the customer’s discretion.
Payment
Cheques should be made payable to ‘Silver Tulip’ and your order number, name and address printed on the back. We also accept bank transfers; please contact us for further details.
Refunds or exchange can be considered only where the merchandise is faulty or the specifications of the order have not been met. In the event of cancellation, all work in progress must be paid for in full.
Manufacture
Manufacture of the final order will not begin until the proofs are returned signed and dated. It is the responsibility of the customer to approve all wording for the order. We will not provide refund for errors found after the proof has been signed off and returned, so please take great care to check them thoroughly.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that they have permission to use any material (e.g. poems) they ask us to include in their wedding stationery and in particular they indemnify Silver Tulip against any action brought against it for breach of a third party's copyright.
Small items, such as beads and wire, are used in the production of some items. Please keep items away from the reach of children at all times.
Variations within the order
The majority of products we use on our wedding stationery are handmade so a slight variation in colour and materials may occur and may differ slightly from the photographs on our website.
Our wedding stationery is handmade and therefore may differ slightly from card to card. This is not deemed as faulty.
If product specifications from our suppliers change, we will endeavour to offer you an alternative of the same or better quality at the same price as your initial order.
If the customer orders Wedding Stationery in stages, then we cannot guarantee continuity of design.
Postage, Packing and Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within 4 weeks of receipt of final payment. Urgent orders, if possible to complete, will incur an additional charge of 15% and must be agreed before work commences.
Postage and packing is included. Orders will normally be sent by Royal Mail or courier and will require a signature on receipt. Please ensure that there is someone to receive the stationery either at home, your place of work or other designated address.
We cannot be held responsible for late delivery due to postal strikes or similar circumstances outside our control.
For orders sent in several batches, separate charges will apply.
Silver Tulip accepts no responsibility for goods lost in transit.
Cancellations
We look at each case on an individual basis. As your stationery will be unique to you, we probably will not be able to sell it to any other customer. We will try and help you out as much as possible but cannot guarantee any refund as it depends how much of your order we have already created.
Pricing
Prices may change from time to time. Customers will be charged the price current at the time of order. Quotations are valid for 30 days only.
Designs
All of our designs are copyright of Silver Tulip and may not be copied or recreated without permission.
